The Carnival Museum - The World’s Only Carnival & Circus Museum

The North American Carnival Museum and Archives (NACMA) is a not-for-profit incorporated entity with charitable status. It is committed to the preservation, presentation and promotion of the history of Carnivals, Circuses, Fairs, Exhibitions and Amusement Parks in North America and is the owner and operator of the Carnival and Circus Museum.



NACMA was incorporated in 2008 as a federally chartered organization with charitable status. The Museum has acquired over 2,000 three dimensional artefacts pertaining to and related to circus and carnival history. The collection includes banners, posters, route books, a circus ring, carnival rides, illusions, carousel, food and games booths. This unique collection is present to the public as a small working carnival and is on display by appointment only at the Museum at 114 Alice Street, Brantford, Ontario, phone 519-753-4646.


Carnival Museum By creating the  Carnival and Circus Museum, The North American Carnival Museum and Archives will encourage a greater appreciation of the social, cultural, historical and economic  heritage of the outdoor amusement industry.
